Will Ron Paul be able to get elected via an online marketing campaign?
I am amazed at how well Ron Paul is able to market himself via online methods. For example, watch the video below (impressive Kudlow interview and mad props for Ron Paul):
I love how the video makes Ron Paul seem like a shining warrior emerging from the darkness to help save the American people from an Evil Empire. Great video VegasBD youtube user. So how has Ron Paul been able to achieve such an incredibly powerful online marketing initiative: grass roots efforts and the intelligence of Internet users. People who watch TV are for the most part, dumb. Ron Paul has a youtube channel but it receives only a small % of total number of Ron Paul video plays online. Internet users are promoting Ron Paul because they realize that he is the only candidate speaking about important issues that can affect the future outcome of this country in a beneficial manner. My father, who considers himself an ardent Rush Limbaugh fan/conservative seems to think that Ron Paul is supported by skin heads and organizations extremely far to the left - he couldn’t be more wrong. I encourage all Banner Blindness readers to support Ron Paul and contribute to his campaign and get active RIGHT NOW!
The following are a list of reasons why Ron Paul has been able to achieve incredible online marketing success in his bid to become the next president of the United States:
- YouTube and all video sharing websites
- The power of bloggers linking to Ron Paul material (such as this one)
- Grass roots efforts that are utilizing the internet to help secure him votes and raise money
- Ron’s deep understanding of the issues and ability to clearly express those issues
- PPC marketing - Not sure if they spend on paid search, but I bet they do!
- An impressive website with a strong call to action
- Utilizes every social networking tool available (flickr, myspace, facebook, bebo, etc…)
So will Ron Paul get elected from his impressive online marketing efforts? Lets hope so, for the sake of this country, lets hope so.
