Could the Great Depression of the 21st century be a time of prosperity when compared to what is to come in 2009 or beyond? Ron Paul doesn’t believe that the congress will come together to support president Bush’s proposed plan.  I predict that President Bush will be able to produce $700 Billion in new money through the Federal Reserve and the Treasury Department.  President Bush will be able to do this without the approval of Congress and the Senate.  How you might ask?  Through the Federal Reserve of course!  The Federal Reserve can act without the approval of Congress or The Senate - and that’s exactly whats going to happen shortly.

Expect campaign contributors and special interest groups to finally reap the rewards of their hard work during President Bush’s administration.  This is truly one of the biggest bank robberies ever carried out in the United States.  Banks must be fuming that $700 Billion more dollars are going to be created out of thin air.  The savings in banks (saving institutions) become less valuable and is thus a form of robbery, no different than when someone walks in and takes it with a threat or a gun. When you purchase business cards you would hope your print company would proof them before mailing them out.  I had to call Vista Print to explain the situation (45 minutes of productivity lost).  There is no email support with Vista Print.  The customer service agent tried to charge me again for shipping to have the correct cards sent out.  I requested either a full refund or correct cards sent to me for no additional cost.  After another 10 minute wait I was finally told that they would be sent back out at no additional charge.  I didn’t see an exceptional savings through Vista Print (even though their ads offer 200 free business cards - which suckered me in, in the first place!).

The image above is the included return envelope I received with my last credit card invoice from Visa, issued by Bank of America.  The advertisement makes it look like it is a gift certificate for $108 to purchase the crap items pictured above.  You put in your credit card information and mailing address, and when you return your credit card payment, you card gets billed for the items!  This false advertising makes consumers think they can get $108 dollars worth of free stuff.  The $108 Holiday Award Certicate doesn’t actually exist, they just print it and make consumers think that it does.   You can click on the image to make see the full version.  Please leave comments if you have fallen for this.

The Learning Annex is a private corporation that uses notable celebrities to help them push their real estate investment business courses, internet marketing get rich quick schemes, and other business opportunities that are full of it. The videos above are a collection of marketing materials I gathered at the Learning Annex. Studying the marketing materials are about the only education you will receive if you attend the Learning Annex. All marketers should take advantage of attending something like The Learning Annex, not because what they are selling will profit you, but you can learn from, and duplicate their marketing materials that are clearly making them millions of dollars.

• Than Merrill uses a testimonial from the back of the room to develop credibility
• The use of lists and marketing to find good deals

This was another get rich quick real estate seminar that I walked into during the Learning Annex in Rosemont, IL.  Than sells a real estate development course (as did about 5 other presenters) that can make you rich!  Hardly, most of these real estate presenters most likely have made far more money selling their resources then actually flipping home.  I was amazed how they outright showed homes they bought for $50 and flipped for $50,000.  That’s incredible rate of return!  If your looking to make money in real estate it can be done, but purchasing a kit on how to do it will just take some of your down payment money away from you.

Corporate diet - I wonder at what age people finally become sick of having to see advertisements all the time.  I think if you were to total the amount of time you spent watching, reading, or being part of an advertisement it would be a disgusting number.  So much in fact, I think consumers would be shocked to realize that they in fact labor away soley to keep up with spending pressure demanded from advertising.  In order to become rich and happy you have to cut out corporations from your diet.  You have to immediately stop consuming products and services that have become corporatized - this is about 80% of goods and services you probably consume.  This is no easy task, but it will save you thousands and liberate you from corporate serfdom.  Expect to actually start acrruing savings.

Produce.  Don’t consume.  - Once you are off of the corporate diet you will start to save more money, but to make more money you have to become a producer.  If you are to walk down the “action alleyway” of a Dominicks, Walmart, or Target, nearly all of the products in those aisles are there because they originated with a man or a woman (who is either a corporate employee or an entrepreneur).  Most people don’t realize though that nearly any product or service that is advertised was originated from an entrepreneur (someone who doesnt have a job).  You need to spend your life originating products and services, instead of just consuming them all the time.  Don’t watch TV, try to create a show and get it on tv, or at least be advertising a product or service on tv; YOU MUST STOP CONSUMING AND START PRODUCING (no matter how long or how hard it must be).  This is the only true way to liberate yourself in a capitalist system; begin competing with other capitalist slave masters.

Advertising - If you are not advertising you are not a businessman or businesswoman.  If you are not advertising you don’t have a product or service to sell.  If you are not advertising you are not making money.  If you don’t know how to advertise you will never make any money.  You need to learn how to advertise if you are EVER going to become rich.

Info-Consumption - Info consumption is anything that you put into your body that does not come through your mouth.  The TV you watch, the sports article online you read, the Youtube channel you subscribe to, the magazine subscriptions that come to your house - Info-consumption is enslaving you.  Info-consumption may not be unhealthy, but it keeps you poor by exposing you to advertisements and useless entertainment gossip that does nothing for you.  Politics is probably the biggest deception that “concerned americans” buy into.  Politicians are in the big business and publicity business.  Stop consuming information, instead start producing your own bullshit information for the masses to consume.

Employment - quit your job immediately and stop working for someone else.  When you work for someone (and everyone in a corporation works for “someone”) you are expected to produce more in income than what you cost to be employed.  Everyday 9-5 workers don’t realize that they actually work for the benefit of their employer, not themselves.  The business owners of today’s corporations want dedicated, hard working, and smart employees that aren’t going to leave the firm.  Business owners want employees that make them money, plain and simple.  The sooner you can escape the 9-5 worker world, and join the 9-5 business owner, the sooner you can begin liberating yourself from a life of servitude and mediocrity.

I hope you have enjoyed the videos I have been posting of the Learning Annex that came to Rosemont, IL around 6 months or so ago.  Instead of calling it the “Learning Annex” they should call it “Leave Your Money Here” Annex.  The Learning Annex resembles a casino somewhat - advertisements state a fortune can be made, but you end up leaving your money with the house.  The video below is of Mark Gonsalves at the Learning Annex.  Gonsalves claims that you can make millions purchasing crappy single family homes and flip them for tens of thousands in profits.  I’m not in the real estate business (online realestate though) but I doubt it is this easy.  I believe the examples that Gonsalves shows are most likely fakes, but how can you really ever tell?

So I received a request from Carlene on MSN (which I rarely use - except to talk to Indian programmers) and accepted it because it looked harmless enough.  I thought it might actually be a real person at first because there were delays between Carlenes messages.  I recently saw a post about this in my either inbox or Google RSS reader.  Anyone else seeing a spike in MSN Chat bot marketing?  I knew this worked years ago in Yahoo message boards, but I have rearely seen this happen outside of Skype, never MSN Live.

I have absolutely nothing against Lisa Nichols personally, but I do dislike bullshit fluffer material that will supposedly make you rich and successful. Nichols is an amazing speaker and with her big gap teeth and large body she manages to have an amazing level of self confidence. Never judge a book by its cover. The Secret was a viral marketing phenomenom that took the USA by storm. I even had my own girlfriend jubilantly show me “The Secret” and how it can change your life. I couldn’t stop laughing when they demonstrated this amazing “secret” by having a person in a parking garage “think” of an open space - sure enough a car pulls out! Anyhow, the masses are always waiting to be entertained and “lifted up”. That’s exactly what Lisa Nichols accomplished with The Secret. As far as making money and having success in life, that is an entirely different story. Let the comments roll in; Secret devotees love to rip on people that rip on their “Secret”.

Im going to post all of the Learning Annex footage I have over the next week. A few things to take away from this video:

• Lowry builds credibility by talking about how he was an orphan and came from humble beginnings (like most of the people in the audience). Whether this is true or not doesnt matter; its a credibility builder.
• Lowry discusses how much his home sold for (10,000,000+) in value.  I wonder if the money to purchase this home came from real estate or real estate courses?  The way Canadians say “house” is very annoying.
• Koz the internet millionare gives a testimonial for Dr. Lowry and how he quit his job, bought 27 properties, all for no money down and no closing costs.  In the Koz online millionare seminar guess who makes an appearance and testimonial - Dr. Lowry!  Now whether or not this is real; I have no idea.

Two things to take away from this video:

1. The usage of testimonials - nearly all of the get rick quick schemers at The Learning Annex use testimonials, testimonials, and more testimonials. I even saw the pitch-men giving testimonials for each other! Testimonials sell products, products dont sell products.

2. When I saw him tossing out CD’s to a crowd of desperately poor people, one guy even in a wheel chair, I got rather disgusted. Though, he certainly did have the audiences attention.
