Could the Great Depression of the 21st century be a time of prosperity when compared to what is to come in 2009 or beyond? Ron Paul doesn’t believe that the congress will come together to support president Bush’s proposed plan.  I predict that President Bush will be able to produce $700 Billion in new money through the Federal Reserve and the Treasury Department.  President Bush will be able to do this without the approval of Congress and the Senate.  How you might ask?  Through the Federal Reserve of course!  The Federal Reserve can act without the approval of Congress or The Senate - and that’s exactly whats going to happen shortly.

Expect campaign contributors and special interest groups to finally reap the rewards of their hard work during President Bush’s administration.  This is truly one of the biggest bank robberies ever carried out in the United States.  Banks must be fuming that $700 Billion more dollars are going to be created out of thin air.  The savings in banks (saving institutions) become less valuable and is thus a form of robbery, no different than when someone walks in and takes it with a threat or a gun.
