Clickbooth is a cost per action affiliate network that I recently interviewed at AdTech in New York this past November 2008. Clickbooth has 25,000+ publishers or sub affiliate marketers that help promote their clients various 4000+: weight loss affiliate offers, ringtone affiliate offers, education affiliate offers, toolbar install affiliate offers, etc… Clickbooth considers itself the “agency of record” for many of the affiliate offers that is puts out to its publishers base. Harald refers to negative billing option offers as “risk reversal offers”. Some of the most popular negative billing option offers out there right now are weight loss neutraceutical products (Acai Berry, Wrinkle Reduction, Pomegranate, Colon Cleanse, etc…). Customers generally only pay for shipping and have to cancel within 10 days and return the item in order not to be billed the full amount. The payout for affiliates ranges from mid thirties to high thirty dollar range. Clickbooth expects to reach several million dollars in sales in November through email marketing, ppc marketing, online viral marketing, display advertising, and other forms of online advertising. Harald also believes that business opportunity offers will continue to perform strongly going into 2009 as a result of the weakened economy. Many “top line” companies are creating products and services that are focusing in on “home based” employment and business opportunity “kits”. “Google Cash Pro” and other “Google Million” and “Craigslist Business Opp” products have been performing very well in 2008 - another example of negative billing option offers.
